How we keep it safe
Where your data lives
Your sites, jobs, photos, service records and certificates are stored in a data centre in London, run by our database provider, Supabase. The Fixbook app is served by Vercel, and emails are sent by Resend from its EU service.
Who can see what
Everyone signs in with their own email and password. There are no shared logins, so every job and every service shows who did it.
- Site staff see only the sites they belong to.
- Managers and owners see every site.
- These rules are checked by the database itself on every request, not only by the screens. A login that should not see a site gets nothing back.
Photos and documents
Photos and certificates are kept in private storage. They are never public. When you open one, Fixbook makes a link that stops working after five minutes. Photos emailed to a booked company use links that work for 7 days.
In transit and at rest
Everything between your phone or computer and Fixbook travels over an encrypted connection. The stored data is encrypted by our database provider.
Leaving
If you stop using Fixbook, we give you your data and then delete it from the service.
