1. If you visit this website
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It is served by GitHub Pages, which keeps standard connection logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested) to run and protect the service. If you email us, we use your details to reply and for nothing else.
2. If you have a Fixbook login
We hold your name, work email address, the role you have been given, the sites you can see, and the sign-in records needed to keep your account secure. We use them to run the service your organisation has signed up for. Legal basis: contract. We keep them while your organisation uses Fixbook.
The app uses one cookie to keep you signed in. It is needed for the app to work.
3. What your organisation keeps in Fixbook
Your organisation decides what goes into Fixbook: its sites, the jobs reported and their photos, notes and dates, the servicing records and certificates, and the names and contact details of contractors. For this data your organisation is the controller and we are the processor. We act only on its instructions, under a written agreement, and do nothing else with it.
Photos should show the fault, not people. If someone asks to see, correct or delete data about them held here, the request goes to the organisation, and we help it answer.
4. Who helps us run Fixbook
- Supabase: database and private file storage, in London.
- Vercel: runs the Fixbook app.
- Resend: sends Fixbook's emails, from its EU service.
- GitHub Pages: serves this website.
5. How long we keep it
While your organisation uses Fixbook. When it leaves, we give it a copy of its data and then delete it from the service.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see the data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to how it is used, and to get a copy you can take elsewhere. Where we are the controller, email hello@getfixbook.com and we will deal with it within a month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we say what changed here.
